How We Rank

Our goal is to surface games that are genuinely worth playing, not just the ones that already have the most players. Here's how our ranking works.

The Underrated Score

The default sort on RobloxEra is Most Underrated. A game scores highly here when it has a high like-to-visit ratio relative to its total visit count. In other words: games that players love more than the crowd has discovered them yet.

A game with 1,000 visits and a 95% like rate will rank above a game with 1,000,000 visits and a 60% like rate. We believe quality matters more than scale.

Community Rating

RobloxEra members can like and review games. Community engagement (likes, comments, and collection saves) feeds into our Highest Rated sort. This reflects how much our own audience values a game — separate from its Roblox statistics.

Curation

Every game in the archive has been reviewed and approved by our admin team before it appears publicly. We check that games are genuinely playable, meet our quality bar, and fit the spirit of the archive. We don't accept games just because they were submitted.

Data Freshness

Visit counts, like rates, and player numbers are synced periodically from the Roblox API. Rankings update as new data arrives, so a game's position can change over time as it gains (or loses) popularity.
